Do you offer payment plans?

I absolutely offer payment plans! The defauly payment schedule is 25% deposit + 25% on the first day of the project + 50% before the handover of final files. However, I completely understand that investing in your brand can be scary and also take a large chunk of your opertaing capital. Chat to me for a custom payment plan, consisting of 4, 5 or 6 equal payments.

How do you accept payments?

For all my international clients you'll receive an invoice in US Dollars with a direct link to make a pyament into my PayPal account. For my South African clients, you'll receive an invoice in ZAR with all my banking details.

Why should I schedule a consultation?

Because I absolutely want to talk to hear and hear more about your business and goals! I also use this time to share more about my holistic design philosophy so that you completely understand the process of the project before committing. This gives you a chance to see if we're a good fit and if my style, work and results-driven methods resonate with you. Also, who doesn't love making a new business bestie?

What are you office hours in my timezone?

Well it's likely I'll be heading to bed when you're leaving the office for the day. But I am flexible in setting up consultation calls so we can get to know each other a bit better in daylight hours on both sides. So if you don't see a time that suits you, send me a request for a day and time and I'll make a plan!
My office hours are
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9-15 CAT, 7-13 GMT, 3-9 EST
Wednesday & Friday 9-13 CAT, 7-11 GMT, 3-7 EST

How soon can I schedule my project for?

This depends on the studio availability as I only take on a limited number of projects per quarter. To develop the strategy for your brand and set the stage for all the designs that follow, you'll also need a minimum of 2 weeks to complete Your Brand Story Workbook and prepare everything we need for the project to get underway. I recommend scheduling your project for at least 3 months before you're hoping to launch your new or rebrand.

How long is a brand design and development project?

Typically these projects take 5 weeks, depending on the number of add-on marketing design pieces, such as packaging and website design. In the project proposal I provide a detailed project schedule, with dates assigned to artwork delivery and feedback.

How many revisions are included?

To make damn sure I'm designing a visual brand that connects with your audience and aligns with your business goals and vision, I include a comprehensive research and strategy phase before any design work happens. I also live present your design solution to walk you through the decision-making and problem-solving process. This means that I seldom have to do more than 1 round of refinements to the designs. However, 2 rounds are included and scheduled into the project!

Once all due payments are made, the copyright is transferred to you! The brand assets are entirely owned by you to share, show off and market. I do, however, retain the rights to share all work created during the project for marketing and promotional purposes for my studio and for your business too!

How do you deliver the final files?

I like making things as easy and seamless as possible! That means I pedantically file every single graphic and share a complete zipped folder with you through a download link. Once I send the link, you have 2 weeks to download your assets (although I doubt you'll wait more than 10 minutes!).

Got questions I didn't answer?

Send an email to lorin@freckleddesignstudio.com with your questions and I'll be sure to answer them!

so, are you ready

for a brand that's compelling and aligned, connected with just the right audience?

Not quite ready to invest in strategic branding?

Woah, I am totally aware that this is no small investment and only really makes sense if you’re business is actually ready for it. If that sounds like you, start with the essentials. All the strategy, none of the design (just yet)! Read more about it here.
